What types of printers are being used by the food services section of the hospital? Im curious as to how they print the tray tickets for patient meals. Are the laser inkjet printers or thermal printers? If anyone and let me know what they’ve seen used that would be great! If you know the actual printer model that would be great too!

Friday, June 18th, 2010In gotomypc, the software makes it so that you can print a document from the remote computer to a local printer from the computer you are accessing the remote computer from. We are running Windows server 2003 and when you connect through RDC there is an option for printers. This is checked but when you log on, your local printer does not attach to your TS computer. Anyone know how to achieve such a goal?

Tuesday, June 1st, 2010I have a laptop that travels with me. I use one type of printer at the office and another type at home. I want to have a different default printer for each hardware profile. I noticed that printers are not listed in device manager for enabling/disabling, etc. Can I just go into each hardware profile (by restarting my PC and selecting it) and specify the preferred default printer in the Printers and Faxes area of Control Panel?

How Do I Get My Office Printers To Work On Their Network?
Saturday, May 22nd, 2010Back Story: My company switched offices and now that we have, I seem unable to get the other computers on the network to recognize each other.
I have already re-setup the networks across the office.
I have set all the printers to share
I have repaired each computers connection
Each printer works locally and has the most up-to-date drivers
When I go to a networked computer and try to add a networked printer no other network computer or printer becomes available.
Any Advice?
